Two teams of researchers made UPM proud by winning a gold medal at the International Competition and Exhibitions on Computing Innovations 2019 (iCE-Clnno 2019) on September 22-24 at Universiti Malaysia Pahang.
The research teams consisting of Dr Nur Izah Ab Razak, Prof Dr Rahmita Wiza O.K Rahmat and Sufi Firdaus Fakhrurrazey received the recognition based on the study, “A new approach using augmented reality visualization to improve medical students learning of the cardiac cycle.”
For the same competition, Dr Shafinah from UPM Bintulu Sarawak Campus in collaboration with USIM researchers have also made a breakthrough in the study, “3D Holographic Display for Argumented Reality.”
iCE-Clnno 2019 is a computer-based innovation competition with a focus on academics, e-learning and industrial practices in light of digital industrial technology, known as Industry 4.0.
